Once an online, written or verbal booking has been accepted by Courtyard Natural Healing by Nichola, the client will have entered into an agreement to have a healing session or course of sessions based on the following terms and conditions:-

Payment - I respectfully ask that clients make full payment by cash, bank transfer or card either before or at the time of their appointment. For Distance Healing, payment is required in advance of your appointment, by bank transfer. No deposit is required at this time.

Cancellations - Amendments or cancellations made more than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time, can be made freely by contacting me as above, with no fee due. For cancellations made between 24-48 hours before your appointment, then currently no fee will be due. For cancellations made less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time, or failure to turn up for your appointment, then 100% of the treatment fee will be due. 

Discretionary waiver of charges for missed/changed appointments - Changing or rebooking an appointment, without a fee, within 24 hours of the appointment date and time, will only be undertaken for emergencies or in extreme cases of illness and will be made at my discretion. 

Late arrival - If you arrive late for an appointment, I will attempt to offer the best possible service within the time left, however your appointment may have to end at the agreed time with no adjustment to the fee. I understand that sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances you may be running late. Please call me immediately on my mobile. If you are up to 15 minutes late on arrival, the appointment can still go ahead but any longer than this will have a negative effect on the next client’s appointment. Your appointment time will therefore either need to be shortened accordingly (if at all possible, with the full appointment fee still due) or sadly cancelled (if not enough time remains). Please note that in these circumstances then 50% of the treatment fee will still be due, as I will have lost a booking and your understanding is appreciated. (I of course make exceptions for emergencies and illness, so please let me know if this is the case).

Early arrival - If you arrive early, please either wait in your car until your scheduled appointment time or message me and I will see if it is convenient for you to wait indoors or for your appointment to be brought forward. Please note I cannot answer the door or reply to a message during a healing session, so I may not reply quickly but if it is at a convenient time then you are more than welcome to wait indoors.

Prices - Reiki, crystal or sound meditation healing sessions and the prices listed, are subject to change without prior notification but I will always endeavour to advise my clients well in advance of any future price increases and will honour any bookings made prior to any increase.  

Children - Children under the age of 16 are welcome if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who will be asked to give their signed consent. They will also be asked to remain present for the duration of the appointment time.  Appointment times will be 30 minutes duration for children and a 25% discount will be applied. 

Personal Information - During a client's consultation, we will need to collect personal information which is important for our client-therapist relationship. This will be used to tailor treatments. This information is strictly confidential. Accuracy will be maintained and updated as and when advised by the client. Please see Privacy Policy for further information.

Sensitive Information - We may at times address specific personal issues or challenges in the client's life or workplace.  All information provided will be kept strictly confidential at all times, with the exception of any information which may result in a danger to the client or someone else.  All discussions during the session are confidential, however as a complimentary health therapist, I am not at liberty to withhold information from the police.  I am required by law to inform the authorities if you or a member of the public are at risk.  Please see Privacy Policy.

Refusing to treat - I have the right to refuse or discontinue a treatment at any point. Circumstances where this may apply include, but are not limited to: -  The Client being under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.  The Client behaving in an inappropriate or offensive manner.  The Client is unwell.   

Guarantees - Whilst many clients experience positive results from their healing sessions, it is important to understand that there are no guarantees of success or cure in relation to a condition you may have.

There are many factors which will influence the success of your healing session. Individual outcomes may vary depending on factors such as the client’s overall health, lifestyle and the specific condition being addressed. Some clients may experience temporary discomfort or side effects as their body adjusts to the healing process, but these typically improve over time.

If there are personal or work-related issues which continue to cause you stress and anxiety, Reiki or any other complementary therapy may help you to obtain a deep sense of relaxation, with improved wellbeing and less tension in the body but for long term benefits, it may be necessary to address these underlying issues in addition to your healing sessions.
